Tribute to a Fallen Colleague and Friend – M.M. Sanni Esq (of blessed memory)
It is with profound sadness that we mourn the sudden and untimely passing of our dear friend and colleague, M.M. Sanni. His demise, which occurred suddenly today December 12, 2024, has left an unfillable void in our lives.
As we bid farewell to this extraordinary individual, we take comfort in the knowledge that his legacy will endure. M.M. Sanni was a shining exemplar of compassion, intelligence, and dedication. His tireless work ethic, unwavering commitment to justice, and unrelenting passion for the advancement of our profession inspired countless individuals.
As an unapologetic activist, M.M. Sanni fought valiantly for the creation of the NBA Eti-Osa branch, he emerged as the pioneer chairman of NBA Et-Osa Branch and within a very short time has impacted the Bar positively leaving an indelible mark on our Association. His selflessness, generosity, and kindness earned him the respect and admiration of his peers.
As we mourn the loss of this remarkable individual, we pray that his soul rests in perfect peace. May the Lord Almighty comfort his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. May we continue to draw inspiration from his exemplary life and legacy.
Rest in peace, dear M.M. Sanni. Your memory will be etched in our hearts forever.
