Chairperson Emeritus of NBA Ota Branch, Chief Ajose Kelubia Felicitates AWLA Nigeria on National Parley, AGM, and 10th Anniversary of AWLA Parley

GOODWILL MESSAGE FROM

THE CHAIRPERSON EMERITUS, NBA OTA BRANCH

CHIEF AJOSE KELUBIA

Immediate Past Chairperson, NBA Ota Branch

It is with immense pleasure and heartfelt appreciation that I extend my warmest greetings and goodwill to the African Women Lawyers Association (AWLA), Nigeria Chapter, on the occasion of this year’s National Parley and Annual General Meeting and, most especially, the 10th Anniversary of the AWLA National Parley.

Ten years of the Parley are a remarkable milestone worthy of celebration. Over the past decade, AWLA has continued to provide a formidable platform for dialogue, advocacy, professional development, and the advancement of women in the legal profession and society at large.

The theme of this year’s Parley, “Women Beyond Limitations,” is both timely and inspiring. It is a powerful reminder that women must continue to challenge barriers, embrace opportunities, occupy spaces of influence, and contribute meaningfully to the development of our profession, our communities, and our nation.

I commend the leadership and members of AWLA Nigeria for their unwavering commitment to the promotion of justice, equality, professional excellence, and the empowerment of women. Your work continues to demonstrate that when women rise, they do not rise alone; they create pathways for others to rise with them.

As you celebrate this important tenth anniversary, may the Parley continue to grow in impact, relevance, and influence. May AWLA remain a beacon of excellence, sisterhood, and purposeful leadership, and may the years ahead bring even greater accomplishments.

Once again, congratulations to AWLA Nigeria on this remarkable milestone. I wish all delegates, distinguished guests, and members a successful, memorable, and impactful Parley and AGM.

Happy 10th Anniversary to the AWLA National Parley!
